Dozekar the Cursed

Hello and welcome to No More More God’s Journey. Today we’re going to be doing South Temple of Vishan. So, this is the uh the final raid zone, if you will, of of Velus. Uh there’s a few more raid mobs we’re going to do after this, but uh what we’re going to do is we’re going to go after Gumm Tuck Tech Lenor Anar, uh Linderella the Keeper, and Doakar the Cursed. Uh those are going to be the four mobs we’re going to target this episode. Maybe we will take out uh Ean of the Sky and Iar the Venom depending on how long this goes. Uh I’m splitting this up because obviously these fights are very long and obviously we’re going to have to clear all the trash in between and uh we can I don’t I don’t we might still be Kos, right? Like I didn’t go do Kale or anything like that. I can’t target that stupid. There he is. Khan, he’s ready to attack. So, we are KO. So, uh we’re going to have to fight pretty much everything uh from here to all those dragons, which I mean it’s not too big a deal, right? Like if we look here, make sure I have a jump junk buff refreshed. I mean, they die reasonably fast. Uh you know, it’s it is what it is. Now, uh, we’ll we’ll go we’ll go this way a little bit, but I am probably going to cut do a cut where I just go and clear all the trash and then we go back and fight the bosses and stuff like that. I’m going to use the same instance for doing the north and the south. So, uh, clearing all this trash is, uh, you know, just beneficial to me. Uh, plus clearing all the trash over here on this side also just so we can, uh, freely move around. uh when we kill those bosses. But uh we’ll do a few together and then um I’ll do a cut and then we’ll do all the bosses together and then I might cut like mid boss if it’s taking like 10 minutes to kill the thing. Uh I think at the next the next tier uh we should be getting a better uh better weapon ratio. So at like level 70 we’ll have uh I think it’s like a three ratio. So, we’ll definitely have a lot more DPS at level 70 and so on and so on all the way up to like 40 I think it’s like 45 DPS at the final weapon. Uh so definitely uh you know just something we’re going to have to suffer through right now. But obviously we’re not having too much trouble because uh Jane’s Veil is absorbing uh the majority of their damage. So that’s that helps a lot. Uh just a matter of uh getting it down. Now, we do have some buffs. Uh, obviously, these buffs will not be here all the way at the end. Uh, because it’s quite a it’s quite a run back here, and I I don’t have like I can’t do a solo campfire. Uh, so I only have a 365 damage shield. So, it’s not it’s not overpowered. Uh but it is uh a little bit stronger than uh you know what you can normally get. But I think it all helps into our uh you know current uh situation here. What do we got going on spell-wise? Do I Yeah, that should be good. So just make sure we got all that. So I’m uh I’m excited. I think we’ll I think we won’t have any issues here uh in this zone. We should be able to take out all these guys. Uh in uh Oh jeez. No, I wasn’t paying attention. No, stop running. Oh my god, he ran away. Oh, that is not good. All right. Well, oh jeez. Where are all these guys? All right, let’s let’s kind of see what’s going on here. We might have to plop down for a second here if we’re taking too much damage. Like I mean at the moment none of these are breaking through. So uh that is Can these be snared? And they can’t be snared either. All right. And I don’t have a dispel. Oh my gosh. All right. Um let’s do this here. This is going to get me summoned a million times. But the further back we go, uh, the less ads we could possibly get. And, uh, that’s on me for not paying attention to, uh, that I did not I’ve never I never even realized these things run. All right. You coming? There you go. My pet’s most likely going to die. Uh, I don’t know where the other one. I guess they’re all in the mercenary now. Yeah. So, I don’t know. She She’s taking it. So, not too bad there. Let me sit for a second. Might get me some aggro. Nope. Not Not at all. Well, this is already starting off to be fun. But we’re gonna have to clear all the trash anyway. So, you know, it doesn’t matter because it it will aggro on us as we walk through the halls to get from dragon to dragon. Typically, you know, you kill everything. Uh if you’re positive faction to uh dragons, right, you can safely walk down this hall and into this room here. Uh but you will get aggro if this door is open and at the same time you pull something. It’s Oh my god, did another one run while I’m yapping? Where’d he go? Oh my gosh. And I can’t even run as fast as him. So, this is This is kind of annoying. All right, we’ll just get whatever we get. Typically, you wouldn’t have to pull these things. I’ll probably what I’ll probably do is I’ll run up top and uh maybe fain death. All right. Is this guy stopped for some reason? All right. I guess I stunned him with bash. I mean, are they all going to run? Like I guess they they wouldn’t run if there was uh someone was aggroed on them, right? Like multiples on me, but maybe not. There we go. One down. Let’s go over here. Like, it’s not too bad. Like, I this I don’t feel like this is too bad. The mercenary is able to handle herself. This isn’t This is This is okay. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Go. All right. See our spells. It says resisted. Doesn’t say immune. There’s a big difference between immune and resisted. And they can be snared. Perfect. or at least the emerald ones can be. All right, that’s good. We’re not getting uh dispelled, so that’s good. Everything’s looking looking a lot better now. Where that guy went, I don’t know. We’ll have to figure that out here in a minute. I wish I had my AoE taunts at this point, but definitely uh we are going to be using the full duration of this this expedition. tell you that. Uh definitely. And we’re there’s going to be like literally no loot that we can use from this. I’m almost certain. There might be like maybe something from Volac that we can use, but um maybe a shield. All right. He resisted, too. Let’s kill him. This one’s not. He doesn’t have uh Oh, he’s immune to it. Oh, wait. No, that was a stun. Never mind. All right, great. We’re resisting his uh wave of cold, so that’s definitely nice. So, we’re not taking a lot of spell damage from that stuff. There we go. He’s snared. Our pet is still chunking along. The mercenary is still chunking along. This is fantastic. Mercenary is like god mode. And I guess they removed the like I I thought there was a uh aa for uh threat reduction like spell casting uh subtlety. I guess they removed that at some point. Um I just totally totally forgot. So I apparently don’t have that. And uh, you know, I’m not really generating as much hatred as I’d like. Uh, so it’s definitely uh I think this is a two-hander, right? I’m used to using the shield, one hand and shield because that gives you a bonus uh to hate regeneration uh and stuff like that with the shield a onehander. So definitely something that is interesting. All right. Come on. Is this guy here? No, he’s not here. Um, let’s grab this one again. Now, they shouldn’t run when they’re clumped like this unless there’s one. So, I don’t have to worry about snaring. It doesn’t look like he’s going to run anyway. All right, there’s another one down. Let’s go for this one. Definitely going to have to find some kind of way to tash mobs and maybe if there’s a malo thing that we can get like that is going to be some kind of you know some kind of way for us to re uh lower resist I think is going to be kind of like the path forward for anything we can do. Uh, I just don’t know if there’s any items a Shadow Knight can use that we can, you know, get that effect from. So, that’s going to be something I’m gonna have to look up. We don’t want the ancient tarnished. That is the Kale Gear. So, we don’t really care about that. And I really don’t care about the uh which is the the other gear either the uh halls of testing gear. But I am going to keep the What the hell was that? All right. All right. Summon somewhere. All right. This one’s snared now. Is that Is that the glimmer drake that we lost or is that another one? There’s two glimmer drakes on us. So, all right. Looks like we can snare this one. I want to try to get him snared cuz, you know, we are hitting for, you know, pretty good hits in between. We got a 4,000 finishing blow right there. So, I mean, it’s not like we’re doing pathetic damage. It’s just not that high. Come on. And we’ll have to figure out where this other gu is at here in a second. Go. So, this guy is just super resistant. So, that’s going to be something we’re going to want to get. Um, there is a there is a slow procking cold proc uh slow cold proc weapon here that I would like to get and I it’s a spear. So I think a shadow I can use it a one-handed spear. Uh so that’s going to be definitely on the list. Uh I have one on another character. So if if uh if we do not get one I’m not going to do this I’m not going to do this raid multiple times. So, if we don’t get one, I will I I’ll probably blow a Guda on it just to uh have it in our bag. Um I might even have the fabled one. So, I might even go with that one. I don’t even know where this guy went. If I sit, will he summon me? No, he’s just going to add more drags. I would faint death off. No, that’s not the right way. Where is the path up? There we go. I’ll go with you. Now, I’m pretty sure these things are like 100% resistant to magic. So, just go with this. Eventually, we’ll eventually kill them all. We’ll kill the uh other one, the other glimmer drake after this. Yeah, the nothing we we’re casting is landing as far as I can tell. Try fire. Fire landed. All right, that’s perfect. Poison landed. All right, so he’s magic resistant. He’s not anything else. I don’t think the magic dot will work. Nope. All right, perfect. Keep knocking this guy down here. see all the resists and stuff down here. But, uh, looking pretty good. Uh, see here, where is this one? That guy right there. Let’s get him dotted up, too, since we we know we can dot him. And this guy, get him down. Perfect. So, I think what I’m going to do, uh, obviously you can see how long this is going to take. I’m going to clear all the trash to Dozakar the Cursed, Tel Gauze, and Linderella. That’s going to take me probably an hour. Uh if not two. So, I’m going to just get all that cleared. Um and we’ll see where we’re at from there. Uh I’ll keep recording and maybe I’ll do like a two, you know, 2500% uh speed speed up uh just so it can be seen. If not, uh I’ll probably cut it out. We’ll see how long it is. But uh I’m going to do that because this is obviously going to take a while for zero zero bonus and obviously I take zero damage because they don’t hit harder than Jane’s fail. So we’ll go from there. All righty. I think I’ve cleared all the trash uh around Doza car here. Uh, I was going to clear the whole thing, but I’m I’m an hour and 30 minutes in and I have literally only cleared like this much right here. Like, and maybe a few up here. It’s uh yeah, definitely level 70 is where we’re going with with Luckland cuz those mobs have even more hit points and stuff like that. So, uh definitely Here we go. Here’s Dozar the Cursed. Now, he is a raid mob. dispels. Uh, I think it’s random cuz we just lost a buff there, but that could have been a cleric buff. So, we’ll see here. Looks like we’re resisting everything so far or we lost whatever number two was. So, now typically you like dodge in and out and stuff like that. He also summons you like constantly. It’s like stupid stupid mechanic. Like you can see here, like I’m being summoned, but I’m still in melee range, right? Like I am in melee range and I’m still being summoned. So uh is dispel seems to be absolutely random there. Uh but uh yeah. So you when I say this is a terrible mechanic summoning, it is. It literally is. Why why is he summoned me when I’m in melee range to inside of his body at that? So definitely something, you know, less than optimal there. Uh let’s get that back on his uh this obviously it’s a random dispel, so I I can’t really do much about that, but uh you know, eventually we’ll have no buffs. Uh we’ll keep going here. Now, I I think I think I’m going to do I’m going to cut this as its own video. Uh because this is going to be like 20 minutes long, just this fight, right? So, we What I’m going to do uh this will be one video here for Dozaro. I’m going to have to rechange my order here. Uh we’ll go back over here. We’ll do these guys, but instead of clearing the trash, I’m just going to run to them and fame death and then go from there. uh and kill like the one mob that’s like right outside the room and do it that way. I think that’ll that’ll be easier and then it’s a little bit more uh concise for the video for like what we’re fighting. But uh uh I I I’m going to go get rebuffed after this because not having the damage shield is just going to be tedious to fight these things here. But you can see we I think we’ve lost all the cleric buffs. You just lost the damage shield. It’s just going to be a long fight. Now, he’s obviously can’t do any damage to us because we do have Jane’s fail. And he is hitting through, right? He’s hitting, you know, 500. So, that’s like 800 and, you know, 6 740 damage, right? So, he’s he hits pretty hard. Uh, I don’t think we would have any issue here. I’m going to I’m going to click Jane’s Veil off for a second here. We have like literally no buffs. for 14,000 hit points and you can see it’s it just makes us a little bit more spiky if anything, right? Like Jane’s Veil’s off. I’m not you know I’m not even doing that. You know, I got a 27 point damage shield down, right? So just just in case like people are like, “Oh, you couldn’t do it without Jane’s Veil.” Well, yes, we could without without any question. We could do this without Jane’s Veil. just makes it quicker and uh saves us a little bit of time. Uh you can see that though. Uh let’s go and put it back on so we get that damage shield, but the the being summoned constantly is kind of annoying and whatnot. So, it’s just uh just how the some of these fights are. Uh some of these other dragons, they’re going to summon us as soon as they see us. So, we’re going to be, you know, probably fighting the dragon plus trash. And bellious mobs, they they barely hit over, you know, you know, they don’t hit that hard, right? Especially with our, you know, gates discord AC. I mean, we’re down to 700 right now, but that is pretty high-end AC for this level, so it’s pretty good. Uh, but let’s keep going here. I think he dispels himself. I can’t remember. me just see if I can get these thoughts on him again. I was I was yapping and I wasn’t paying attention. There we go. He’s got that. But the dots are, you know, going to be one of our definitely good pieces of damage. I guess I don’t have to move. Like I’m still able to hit him inside of him, right? Like I am literally inside of him and I’m I can still hit him. So that’s something. But uh definitely kind of hilarious in all honesty. But I think breaking breaking up into uh smaller sections just because they’re such long fights. I can put, you know, if the video ends up being less than 20 minutes, I can just put another video on the day, right? Versus, you know, dropping a a video that I have no idea how long it is cuz most of it is me clearing, you know, trash mobs that keep running because I can’t land snares. Oh my gosh. You can see there we lost we lost Jains Veil now, right? cuz it we’re not keeping the uh all the buffs up, right? Cuz I just stopped paying attention cuz we lost pretty much everything except for focus and uh the the life tap proc. So, your mileage may vary, but in it it’s 65. This is, you know, definitely doable without any kind of special gear. And I’m not even wearing the right cloak. Uh cuz I put on a different cloak when I was swimming here. That’s how that’s how much I pay attention. Let’s put that on. Let’s see. You can see my my pets my pet’s hanging in. He’s getting heals from uh the mercenary. So that’s pretty nice. Uh eventually we’re going to get to the point where we can’t bring the mercenary in to uh some of these things. So that’s going to make things a little harder. Uh, it just depends on what it is. I I I’m not sure what determines if you can bring a mercenary in or not, but a lot of these older raids you can for some reason, but the some of the newer ones I don’t believe you can. So, we’ll see how that goes long term. And then I do know that there are some Omens of War raids that are going to require a rogue for specific mechanics like pickpocket and something like that. So, I’m going to I’m going to be leaving Towani kind of leveled up at the same level as this guy. So, she’s currently level 70. Uh, so I’ll, you know, level her up. You know, I’ll kick her. I’m going to start her series back up, right? So, I can keep her leveled up at the same uh kind of pace as Nomard here so that when we do need a rogue for some mechanic or something like that, boom, we have it. Right. And so we just bring her in, do the mechanic that we need it for, and then move on. But you can see we’re completely debuffed now. Um, and I’m still not having any real no real issues. We’re taking some damage obviously, but nothing nothing I would really concern myself with in all honesty. But I do plan on uh spending two goodas on the mount and two goodas on the familiar so we can have those unlocked to really just push our our uh speed up a lot, right? Like it’s not about like it’s not about like the extra hit points or anything like that. It’s all about killing faster so we don’t have to sit here for, you know, 30 minutes, killing these guys and stuff like that. There we go. >> Come on. Guess I didn’t need that one. But as you can see, we’re fighting this guy. Jane’s Veil is not on. The only buff we have is the debuff he procs. I think that’s his debuff. I can’t even click on it. Uh, and we are not having a too bad of a time, right? His max hit is 810 right there. I think that’s, you know, pretty he’s missing a lot. He’s we’re dodging a lot definitely. You know, we could go tank here with a with a onehander, but we don’t even have a shield. So, I’m hoping to get it the shield that drops here. Uh there’s like three options. Any of those is better than my Sarnac battle shield. So, keep that in keep in our back pocket if we can get one of those. But uh yeah, and then I did do some research. Uh the only resist debuff weapon that a Shadow Knight can use is the Journeyman’s walking stick. Um now there’s two versions of it. So you see I got I bought this one for like 500,000. I can’t even click on it yet. But uh it’s it does 135 to all. It’s a 105 item. So, I will definitely have that at 105, but uh I’m trying to find the lower tier journeyman walking stick, which drops in Symbolist Crypt. Uh we might uh that might be something we go do with Tuani, go farm that up in one of her episodes, but she’s level 70, so I don’t think she’ll get any experience there. Uh so, we’ll see uh what that’s all about. Maybe I can let him into the crypt and go from there. Um, and I was also thinking like I like I I built the the randomization website, right? And I need, you know, another character to do another test run of some stuff, you know, just make sure that it stuff’s makes sense. Uh, so I think I’m going to throw up a solo Hobbs series as the paladin. Uh, he’s going to start at like level 46, I think. Uh, and we’ll just uh because he already has a a paladin persona, right? So, just it’s already I think it’s 46 or I’ll dele it to 46. I can’t lower go lower than 46 because I have that DL level perk and it won’t it won’t let me level any lower. I wish you could like turn it off temporarily uh so you can level all the way to one, but uh I think starting at 46 is, you know, perfectly fine. I’m going to give him group gear and he’s just going to be like a solo character all the way to 125 killing undead uh as I add the undead uh flag to all the EQ uh uh RNG zones that I have in my database so that we can kind of have uh an undead path if you will to uh to 125 and uh and beyond. So, I I think that’ll be kind of fun uh to do uh just, you know, it’s like a solo guy. Uh it’s way easier to do the solo characters because you don’t have to like there’s not a lot of micromanagement involved in a solo character compared to uh you know, boxing six. So, I think that’ll be a nice little thing to do before I start doing the three box uh of hobs and friends as a warrior, cleric, and bard. We’ll kind of get that going. And so, it have the three solo series kind of going at the same time. Uh, and they’re all going to be using the randomization. So, I think that’ll kind of give me enough dog fooding, if you will, of the product to make sure it’s good. It’s a free. It’s free. like anybody can go to eqrng.com and use it. Uh I just posted the UI for it uh in the last update. So hopefully that’s all good to go still. I got I got update five in the progress right now on that. So it’s it’s going to effectively verify all the data. Uh that’s the it’s the only step I have left on what I want to add. Uh there’s a few other things like missions and stuff like that I want to add, but it gets it gets into the point where it’s like overly detailed and I would have to start collecting more information and it’s a lot of manual manual adding, right? Uh and I’ve been trying to link to Alagazam and EQ resource for what I can. Uh I think I link EQ progress too for some of the zones with certain items and stuff. Uh and then all those sites like they have like actual databases and stuff like that of data. Uh and that’s I don’t want to create like a database of all the EverQuest stuff, right? That would you know if I could get access to Alakazam, if I could if I could buy it and uh it wasn’t not like some crazy price uh you know you know API access or something like that, I would definitely I would look into it. But Alakazam is just too slow and uh whatnot. So I I want, you know, I and I don’t want to put ads or anything on any of this stuff. I just I was I was trying to I was on my phone trying to browse some of these sites, right? And they’re like totally unbrowsable on a phone, right? It’s just like totally annoying. like uh it’s just absolutely annoying to try to browse some of these things with all the ads they have on on the phones. So, it’s it’s uh I don’t know. It’s not not what I want to create, but uh it’s it’s kind of getting to that point. So, if I do missions that, you know, it’s it’s a lot more information that I have to add. And there there’s at least 500 plus missions. Uh cuz I have 500 mi miss mission instances inside of the database right now. That includes raids too. Uh so that is you know it gets kind of it’s it’s a lot of data to go through and verify and make sure it works. All right. Almost dead. 4% and we have no mana. So like I I’m just really just keeping Jane’s Veil up at this point. just for that extra damage shield damage. But you can see here we’re hitting 600s thousand. There we go. Thousands double hit. Not too bad, but uh definitely some good things coming. And then I’m I’m, you know, started working more on uh the companion website for all the videos. Obviously no ads on that either cuz what would be the point, right? Uh but uh yeah. So, let’s get a screenshot of this son of a gun here. Here, can you can you come over here? All right. So, we got a screenshot of that. Let’s uh let’s go to town cuz I’m going to run back here cuz I got to get rebuffed and med and all that stuff between videos. Uh let’s go to town, get our Guda for this guy. Obviously, uh we were able to do it with and without Jane’s Veil. So, I just want I just want to make it clear like obviously I pick Jane’s Veil because it’s a super strong item and it helps me level faster. Um but is not required to do any of this at all, right? It is 100% not required to do anything. So, um, what I’ll I’m probably going to do with Hobs since Hobbs doesn’t have it. I’m probably I went to the wrong zone. Let’s go play. Uh, cuz Hobbs doesn’t have his his Jains Veil yet. So, what I’m probably going to do is go ahead and do his James Veil and we’ll do those videos. It’s it’s it’s like 15 videos and I can do it pretty quick at 120. And so we’ll we’ll go ahead and uh start adding some of those uh Burning Lands videos into the mix stuff so he can get his James Veil and I think Tani and everybody else has it except him and the bard I think in that group. But I think I already cancelled the B. So we’ll see how much longer she has. All right. So, we keep running out of the way wrong way anyway. All right, go back over here. Let’s get our Guda and call this a good day. All right. No, we don’t want 100. There we go. One Guda. Perfect. Uh we’re going to be spending like pretty much all these Gudas here at level 70 anyway. So, uh there we go. That is uh Doakar the cursed. He was uh not too bad. We’re at 14 goodas now. uh which we will turn into pretty much full uh Omens of War raid gear uh plus most of the steps for the epic and then we’re going to do the epic 2.0 and 1.0 and all that stuff in the next uh next set when we get into uh level 70. I think that’s going to be like the the kind of the break point for all done. But uh yeah, so next video should be the rest of uh what is that? west, the uh the part where uh the three dragons are. Uh and we’re just going to flop two from dragon to dragon and kill them one by one versus killing all the trash. Uh I probably could have done some of that in this video, but uh definitely just got overwhelming. Plus, once you’ve dropped down, you have to like zone all the way back out anyway, and I want to go get buffed, get some lunch, and stuff like that. So, uh expect that in the next video, either today or tomorrow. depends on how how this all ends up at the end. But thank you very much for watching and please have a fantastic Okay.
